When I wear sunglasses on the golf course, I have to move them to my hat when making a shot. I just can not focus on the ball clearly when wearing them. Any one else experience this or are you alright with them on?

I'm the opposite. I pretty much don't take them off unless it gets dark enough to the point where I will remove them.

I've also found that if I do take them off and forgot my case, an empty sleeve of Titleists makes for a suitable case.

I can do it either way and always use them on a tee shot, but on head when hiting my approach shot and on head when putting. I can use them in those situations, but it has become more of a superstition than anything.

I am able to wear mine, which is good, they are prescription sunglasses.

I usually remove my sunglasses because I THINK I can see the ball better at address. It's psychological, just like the game. I can't tell you how many times I hit perfectly good shots and then realized I had my sunglasses on. Oops.

I too had a si milar problem when I first stated wearing them. I noticed I was getting headaches throughout the round due to sunlight exposure to my eyes. My doctor recommended sunglasses to help but I couldn't adjust.
I found that a pair with rubberized ear socks helps as they tend to remain stable throughout the swing and I don't have a fear of them falling off. Today, I have a dedicated pair of Oackley Flak Jacket XJL that solely stay n my golf bag.
I suggest getting use to them on the range at first and then bringing them onto the course. I quality pair of polarized lenses will not affect your natural depth perception as well.
    Play well!!

Hey Bob T, I leave my glasses in my truck. That is what my Titleist hat is for. At 58yrs. old, I do not need sunglasses in my way. Good question!

Oakley-twenty prescription sunglasses here, and I use them for all shots; once used them in cloud burst.

I wear mine all the time, have for years. No issues here, I wear the Oakley Flak Jackets 2.0, Red Iridium lens, perfect for golf. I have worn sunglasses for so long playing golf, its like a golf glove now.

Flak Jackets with either VR28s or Gold Iridiums depending on how bright it is outside. Optometrist says I have to start wearing UV protection when playing golf...sucks getting old :)

Hi Bob T. ... I notice a bit of a trend with regards to the Oakley's. I too wear a pair of Oakley's with the "golf specific" lenses. They are lightweight, don't move throughout the swing and the best part ... when I see my ophthalmologist, he is so impressed that I have no signs of UV/sun damage to my eyes at my age!
  17. If I'm playing in a tournament or a serious match I don't like to wear sunglasses. I feel it throws my depth perception off. Prob. just psychological. When I do wear them for a casual rounds I like to rotate between a pair of Revo's and Oakley's and think I feel more comfortable with the Revo's.

I wear regular glasses with transition. When I wear my sunglasses (graded) for golf, I do have to get used to it so I wear them as I drive to the golf course. But once they're on, it's just like my regular eyewear.
  19. I've never been able to wear sunglasses while swinging as my depth perception seems to be way off. Had the same problem when skiing and snowboarding, could never wear goggles unless the trails were perfectly groomed because I couldn't see the imperfections.

I can't wear sunglasses. I've tried and it just bothers me. I just trust my Titleist hat!

Wear mine all the time. Your eyes need protection too. Can take some getting used to though. Do what works for you.
  22. I can't go outside without sunglasses on and can't play without my prizm golfs
