  1. Hi all,

I'm looking for some help. I'm looking for a few hidden gems in the north east of England as i'm travelling up and are planning on playing golf for the 3 days i'm there.

Could you recommend your favourite courses. I must add i've already played Northumberland GC, Sharpley GC and Ramside Hall (Cathedral course).

    Many thanks Asher

    Hi,

Close House is probably the obvious one after hosting the British Masters .. Ideally the Colt Course. There is also Slaley Hall and Rockliffe hall which are great courses. And Alnmouth Foxton Hall which is a great coastal track.

Probably best ringing and checking with the courses on the conditions with all the snow lately!!

Hope that's helpful and enjoy whatever courses you play!!

I can only add my recommendation for Close House, as I was lucky enough to play there with Team Titleist last year. Great course, with a variety of challenges! Fantastic facilities and hospitality to match. Plus you’ll be playing the course that hosted the British Masters...

Give Hexham, Ryton or Whitley Bay a visit, the likes of close house will be expensive compared to those.
