Especially for seniors and other players "not a typical 30 year old", for that level of investment, find a good fitter to match the best shaft to your swing and gives you the feel you want. I'm 68, had used graphites for 3 releases. For the 718 in my case, we compared the Tensi AMT and the TT AMT-Red, and I did much better with the AMT-Red. Not that I recommend the TT metal for you, but you won't know the best until you have compared several recommendations.

i have Tensei in my T-MB’s and real happy with them. That said, I did get properly fit before I purchased. Suggest you do the same, maybe sign up for a Titleist Thursday.

Feel is a personal thing, so, what feels great to me, might feel awful for you. Your best bet is get an iron fitting (Titleist Thursday is an option), so, that you can make that decision for yourself.
  5. Am 36 years old and av always used graphite shafts in my irons my own personal preference try both shafts a liked the Tini shafts in my 716 irons and went for the tensi red in my 718 go get fitted see what best suits your game
