I finally made the switch over to Titleist irons! I picked up a mint set of 714 AP2s 4-GW, and then added a 54* and 60* SM7 wedges. I’m blown away at the performance of these clubs... started the season at a 14.1 and currently sitting on an 11.2 handicap. The turf interaction is incredible, they just dig and glide through the turf. I’m taking some amazing divots now that I never have before. They are used but new to me and so buttery to hit.

Thanks Titleist! When I turn 50 I’ll travel to the factory to get fit for new irons, but until then I’m riding with these 714 AP2s! Hoping to get lucky and land a Hybrid 5 Stand bag for Fathers Day.

Congratulations. Glad you are playing well with them. Had those clubs when they came out as well. If you think they are good, dare I say, just wait till you try the t-series, especially the t-100’s...like butta. Just picked up the hybrid 14 myself for my birthday and love it! Keep that handicap downward trend going.

One of the things i love most about Titleist irons is the turf interaction. They just cut thru like hot knife thru butter for me.

    Enjoy your sticks Gstuart.

Glad to hear you’re having such a positive experience with your irons. I recently switched my irons over to Titleist and wish I could go back in time and play them from the beginning. Simply put, they’re the best!

Thanks Alex! Agreed, they are the best. I’ll be headed out to Dayton for 3 weeks in mid June, would love some golf suggestions, and would love to meet up if you have time for a round!
  7. I would like to switch to Titleist from cally. I am 16 hdcp and swing right hand with slower swing speed. I am 71 years old and been playing five years. I play 3-4 times a week with ultimate goal of reaching 10 hdcp. Currently swinging a 10.5 driver drilled down to 9.5 with a very high ball trajectory and 200 yard drives (weak huh), but hit My 5 wood 180-190.

What set of clubs should I be reviewing within the Titleist brand?

    Thank you
