  1. I recently made a hole in one on a par 4 at my home course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The hole from the blue tee is 386, but it is a pretty severe dog leg right. If I were to guess, I would say taking a direct line at the green is probably more like 310-320 yards. It cuts the yardage down significantly. It was down wind and I hit a routine drive over the houses and trees on the right. I took dead aim at the green but I assumed it would still be short. My dad and I drove over to his ball to get his number and there was a guy on the green gesturing that the ball went in. He said that he was putting, and the ball landed above the greenside bunker and rolled in like a putt. I was skeptical for the first 7 holes after it until the head pro at my course drove out and told us that he's known the guy that saw my ball go in for years and he'd never lie about something like that.
