Hole in One, Hole 7, 121 Yards at Top of the Rock

After work one day, I played Top of the Rock with my cousin. I got to hole 7 it was 149 yards to the back and the pin was sort of in the middle. There’s a hill in this green that goes down towards the tee’s I hit the ridge and it rolled down into the cup!!! Super Sureal, I ran from the tee too the hole yelling and celebrating! My cousin isn’t a golfer so he had no idea what was happening but he soon caught on. Super Sureal. I was not as good of a golfer as I am now either so it came as a suprise! And on my way home, my tattoo artists gave me a discount on my upcoming appointment, in all just a great day!

First Hole-in-one!

Got my first hole-in-one today. It was an absolute marshmallow off the face of my T250 9 iron, and the Pro V1 spun beautifully right into the hole. Elated, to say the least!

I also had a virtual golf ball consultation with Titleist today that was phenomenal. I’ve played the AVX for the past year but needed more spin into the greens. After reviewing all my numbers, he put me into the Pro V1, and wow, it delivered.

What a day!

It was the first day of golf league. The weather conditions were not favorable. It was rainy with gusty winds. After a rough start on first 3 holes. I teed up on the 13th hole at Grand Ledge Country Club. An uphill par 3 with an elevated green with the pin at 148 yards. Made a nice smooth swing and caught it pure. Ball bounced once at front of green and disappeared from view due to elevation. I knew it should be good but rode up to the green to see no ball where I though it should be. My partner checked the hole and there it was. My first hole in one.

My First Hole-in-One with a Titleist Pro V1

On a beautiful Thursday afternoon after work, I played the front nine at Rockledge Golf Club in West Hartford, Connecticut with a business colleague, Greg.

We got to Hole #8, a 184-yard shot over water to a green sitting up on a hill. The pin was tucked in the front left corner, and I pulled a 5 iron and teed up my Titleist Pro V1. I hit what felt like a great shot. From our view, we saw it bounce once on the green before it disappeared, but because of the angle and elevation, we had no idea where it finished.

When we got up to the green, I didn’t see my ball anywhere. I grabbed my wedge and putter and started walking the back edge of the green, thinking it may have rolled off or settled somewhere out of sight.

Little did I know.

Thankfully, Greg was thoughtful enough to check the cup first. He saw my Titleist Pro V1 sitting at the bottom, marked with the obnoxious blue mark I’m known for — the same mark I often get comments about when I play. Instead of saying anything right away, he walked back to the cart, grabbed his phone, and recorded the moment I found out my ball was in the cup.

It was my first hole-in-one, and I’ll never forget it: Rockledge Golf Club, Hole #8, 184 yards, 5 iron, Titleist Pro V1, on Thursday, April 16, 2026. A perfect shot, a great surprise, and an even better memory.

Ordinary autunm sunny Sunday morning, with my friends, #17 hole, 125y, the wind blowing against my Prov1, I hit a punch with my 7 iron. The ball touched the pin and disappeared in the hole. It was my second HiO, and the most incredible coincidence, it happened in the same day (4/26), but 11 years after the first in 2015!

I am a retired NAIA golfer that played five years at the University of Pikeville. I was playing in the shootout at our local club. I had been playing ok for the day until I lost a ball on hole 7 and ending up making double. I knew I was out of having any chance of the money. In frustration I tossed my ball on the tee on the short par 3 8th that normally plays about 130 yards. I always hit a pitching wedge on that hole. I took zero practice swings and just hit the ball out of frustration. I hit it ok but it never left the flag stick. As the ball was landing there was a loud thump sound. The greens were a little soft so I assumed that I flew it long and it plugged on the back fringe. One of my playing partners started saying that he thinks it was in the hole. There is a running fountain directly in front of the green in the pond so it was difficult to see where my ball had landed. As we walked to the green you could see the top half of the ball inside the cup against the flag stick. I immediately ran back to the cart and grabbed my phone, took a video of whole thing, I hit the flag stick and the ball fell to the bottom of the cup so it wasn't plugged in the lip or anything of that nature. I then began calling all my old teammates and friends about it. I ended up making a some money off that shot. So far it is my only one, and hoping that it isn't my last.

Side story: I am now an assistant coach at UPIKE, and I got to watch my younger brother make his first hole in one during our home tournament to basically win the 54 hole tournament for our team. I believe I was more excited for his first hole in one than my own. His hole in one was in Prestonsburg Ky at Stonecrest Golf Course on hole 17. I gave him a number and we talked about what he needed to do to try to make birdie because at that time we were trailing by a shot a two. It was his third to last hole for the tournament and as soon as he hit it, I knew it was pretty good. It is about 200 yards that plays about 25 to 30 yards down hill. It landed on the front right of the green and rolled in just like a putt. He had almost zero reaction and I began going crazy, jumping around, hooting and hollering. That was one of the coolest experiences that I have ever had on the golf course. We ended up winning that golf tournament by one shot as a team, and it ended up being the difference for us winning that tournament.

Hello, my name is Alessandro Giampaolo. I work at a golf course in Las Vegas and after work I went to go play a sunset round. I made a hole in 1 on hole #8. It was 155 yards. This hole in one is my second . The craziest of all, I was playing alone. I did have my phone recording as I walked to the hole hoping the ball didn’t go in because I had no witnesses but when I got to the green, I didn’t see a ball. When I looked in the hole, my titleist Pro V1 number 22 was in the cup.

My first ace

On April 23, 2026,I was playing hole #17 at Forest Hills Golf Course in Cornelius, Oregon. The flag was set up 107 yards from the tee. I teed up my usual Titleist Pro V1x ball and hit it with my #7 cally epic star hyper rescue club. The ball flew straight at the hole, landed about 2 yards short of the hole and quickly disappeared into the hole!!! That was so exciting! #17 is an elevated tee and everyone in my foursome roared when they watched it disappear in the hole.

After 44 years of playing golf I finally got my first hole in one!! I was playing with 2 other guys in my golf league at Twin Lakes Golf in Clifton, VA. We were playing the Oaks Course and Hole #12 was playing about 120 yards into a strong wind.

My playing partners went first and both were short and left with one in the bunker. I went last and hit my Titleist T-200 9 Iron on a good line but none of us saw it land due to the blinding sun that day.

I drove the cart and dropped off my buddy Chris. I proceeded to be the first to get to the large green. and saw no golf balls. I thought OK its either in the hole or somehow it rolled off the back. My GUT told me to check the hole first as I knew I hit it well and BINGO there it was!!

My takeaway.....TRUST YOUR GUT!! :-)

29th Birthday Round Hole in One

During my 29th Birthday Round this past weekend, with 3 of my friends I carded my first ace. On my hour and a half drive to the course; I was doing a lot of reflecting how this was a monumental birthday and closing out the 20's. The thought came across my mind of how crazy would a hole in one be (I quickly said to myself get real - break 90 today). Sure enough, we get to the famous Island Green 8th hole at the Ledges in York, Maine. The hole was playing 167 Yards with high winds left to right. I struck a pure 7 iron and played 20 yards outside the pin. The wind pushed it to the center of the green. The second it came off the club, I knew it was a good swing. With the significant elevation change, we couldn't see it go in but heard it hit the green. My friend threw a dart and walked past the cup and was the first to see my ball in the bottom of the cup - sitting perfectly in there was my Titleist 3. Our group went crazy and the club house drinks weren't cheap, but the best bar tab I'll ever have.

Good morning party people. Something CRAZY happened this weekend. Me, 2 buddies, and a random 4th in our group all teed off at the Country Club of Gwinnett this past Saturday not knowing what was in store. We get up to the 7th tee box. I go to the bathroom. While in there, 2 guys tee off already. I come out, and one guy is waiting to go. it's a short par 4, and my buddy colin says he is going to wait for the green to clear (he smacks the ball off the tee). Knowing I don't hit it as far as him, I tee off. All day I have been hitting a baby fade off the tee (I’m right-handed). So, I aim for this tree on the left side of the fairway, knowing it'll give me a good spot for a wedge shot. I tee off, absolutely smacked the ball. I back off, and my buddy colin says "That's going to end up perfect" (little did we know it would literally be perfect). as I respond, "Yeah I hit that pret..." the guys are finishing up on the green throw their hands up in the air, and start screaming. We all look up in awe and disbelief of what just happened. we take off running, knowing we won't believe it until we see the ball in the cup. Sure enough, we get up there, ball in cup. Hole in one. Albatross. 298 yards. I fall to me knees in exhaustion and pure excitement. we cheered, we celebrated, and to top it all off, I shot my best round ever, finishing off with an 82. It is a day I will never forget. I used a Pro V1, and a TSI3 driver. Literally could not have done it with any other club / ball combo, nor would I want to do it with anything else. I feel honored to have this happen. I am beyond stoked there were people to see the ball hit the pin, run halfway up the flagstick, and drop in the hole. Most importantly, I am forever indebted to Colin on telling me where to aim. What a day.

My first ever hole in one what a story

18th hole on the match of course at Pga Natl in Palm Beach Gardens. Saturday, April 25. We played the back anchor tease. It was about 190 yards into the wind and the pin was down in that gully in the middle of the green. I took out my three iron and had an absolute dart and we saw it disappear over the ridge so nobody saw it go in the hole. When we got to the Greene, it wasn’t there and I was freaking out that maybe it rolled off the back or side, but it was nowhere after a few minutes. I finally looked in the hole and saw it and went absolutely bonkers. I was so excited. I picked the ball up and threw it in the air and it landed in a pond nearby. I had to go fish it out. I have it on video, but I can’t upload it.

The best part is, we do an annual Ryder Cup format tournament at Pga Natl to beat people and this was on the final one of the matches to win. It was amazing. For it to happen at a tournament with all of my closest friends, and Golf competitors was a truly special moment that I will never forget.!!

My First Ever Hole in One

On April 26, 2026 I hit my first Hole in One ever. I play in a monthly Scramble group called PAGA and it was our first outing of the season. On the 7th hole at Plum Creek in Castle Rock, CO., it was playing 155 yards to the pin through a tree tunnel on both sides. I was the last to tee off in my group. The first 3 drives were all out of play. I hit an 8 iron draw into the green it hit in the front, took 2 small hops and trickled into the cup. The President of PAGA was in the group behind me was watching from the cart path and watched it drop. We all erupted screaming, hugging and celebrating. The funny part was before we teed off I asked the president “how much are you going to pay me when I ace today?” It was an expensive trip to the clubhouse after the round but the best feeling in my life. The ProV1 I used will be in a display case on my desk till the day I die.
