I scored my 1st hole-in-one in today's round at Summit Rock Golf Course of Horseshoe Bay, TX on hole #6. The distance was 127 yards and I used a 7 iron.My son, daughter granddaughter were witnesses to this.

Played Macktown Golf Course in Illinois today, with two guys whom I just met from Beloit college On the #6 hole, 212 yd Par3 I scored my 1st hole in one at age of 76. Still a 6-handicap golfer but old, lol

I was playing my favorite ball on July 15th when I hit a ball ipitching wedge 127 yards on the Crosswinds Zakarius #6 for my third hole-in-one. It was a great day!!

Hole in one

Every golfer dreams of a hole in one, but you never really expect it to happen.

Mine came at Mearns Castle Golf Academy in Scotland on the 4th hole, a 141-yard par 3. I pulled a 7-iron, made a smooth, confident swing, and caught it perfectly. The ball flew straight at the green, pitched just short, took a kind bounce and began tracking towards the flag.

As it rolled closer, it disappeared behind the pin. Thinking it had finished beside the hole, I turned to my playing partners and said, “Oh, what a shot!”

They looked back towards the green before turning to me with huge smiles. One of them simply said, “Think you should look back, mate… that’s dropped in!”

I threw my club in the air and sprinted down the fairway. Sure enough, there it was—my ball sitting at the bottom of the cup.

A moment I’ll never forget, and one every golfer hopes to experience at least once in a lifetime.

Girlfriend calls me on the second last hole “My Brother has broken his arm and ankle playing hockey, Im off to the hospital “ I told her I would see her up there after. Get the last hole 168 meters to a back flag, flushed a 6 iron . Get up to the hole couldn’t find my ball, checked the bunker and over the back of the green assuming it rolled off the back. My playing partner said maybe check the hole, to my surprise it was in there. Called my girlfriend back and said sorry babe wont be coming just had a hole in 1!

The other hole in one was boring in comparison easy pitching wedge 120m to a raised green looked in all the way. Got up there couldn’t see my ball, i knew this one was in there hole.

Ledgeview Golf Club Hole in One

Absolutely beautiful 181 yard par 3, 85% swing baby cut to a right pin. Hit the green and rolled into the cup, literally didn’t believe it. I thought my eyes were deceiving me. Got up to the green looked in the cup and it was just there. Absolutely crazy 10/10 experience and literally the reason we all love this game so much.

Foursome playing, I was third to hit, 112 yards, bunker obstruction to view green, only saw pin. I used pitching wedge. Nice towering shot, looked great, we approached green, saw three of 4 balls on green, none being mine, walked to hole , Shazam [emoticon:5a01f5fd61e8493d90400edb7ba552e9]️ there it was in cup. We looked for trail on green to cup because of dew, none trail. Appeared it was a strategic hit.

Set the target line just left of the pin. The ball came off the club solid in a medium trajectory. The ball speed must have been perfect because the ball was wedged between the pin and the wall of the hole.

i just had my first hole in one! my cousin just had his first 10 days ago! my grandpa, who’s been playing over 60 years, has never had one but was there the day we both had them! hopefully papa can get one soon! i’m so excited to play next year in college for eiu!!! Playing a round at my local par 3 by myself the other day. On hole #10, standing over the ball when I hear someone yell. I look up and see two guys in their twenties near some tennis courts. One had yelled at two more guys about to walk across the fairway while I was hitting. Everyone stopped and they waved at me to tell me to hit. I stood over the ball and got my first ace. Took me a second to process it, I’ve been playing for 25+ years and never had one. Next thing I know all four guys are running up to me celebrating like we just won the World Series. I’m not sure who they were but they made an unforgettable moment even better. Thanks random guys meeting up to play pickleball on a Thursday afternoon.

Par 4 Hole in one

Made my first ever hole in one on a 250 yard par 4. Downwind and club choice was a 5 iron, it rolled up perfectly into the hole. I wish I got to see it better but what a crazy feeling!

Finally got my first Ace at age 47!!

After years and years of near misses, I assumed I would never get one. Until a few weeks ago when it FINALLY happened. I hit 6 iron from 182 on our uphill 2nd hole with my Titleist ProV1 with a blue dot. It looked good but it probably didn't go in. Then we got to the green and only 1 ball was on the green when there should have been 2. I knew it wasn't short and I knew it wasn't long so I walked towards the hole and there it was at the bottom of the cup. At that moment, everything changed. My college teammates who constantly chirp me for not having one can finally quiet down. How did I celebrate? I bought drinks for several of our members (pricey but worth it), then I printed as many photos as possible and placed them strategically around the rooms of my obnoxious friends who came to town the following week. This doesn't make me a better golfer, it just means that luck was finally on my side and it's a moment I will never forget.

On July 16, during the woman’s tournament At Owatonna County Club in Owatonna, MN, I scored a hole in one! Hole 7, 108 yards, using my 7 iron, and a Titleist ProV1 golf ball. The ball included a logo of the lookout hole on hole number 5 of Silver Bay (MN) golf course, which is in memory of my dad, and wording on the ball stating NorMike open 2025 (from our family golf tournament held at Silver Bay Golf Course, ran by my sister Norma O’Leary. My favorite ball to hit, and only do during special events. This time around, capturing my first ace!!! Witnessed by an amazing group of golfer friends!

It finally happened

I'm guessing I've had about 7000 opportunities for a hole in one. yesterday was the day. Cowan's Ford Golf Club, Hole 17. Playing about 158. I teed up my trusty ProV1x and swung my 8-iron. I really thought I'd hit it a little thin, but a perfect draw that I saw hunting the flag on the way down the horizon. I lost it after it landed. To be honest, I thought it was going to be short. On the ride up to the green, there was nothing short, and nothing on the green that could have been mine. My pal Max ran up to the pin, got 5 feet away, looked back and screamed, "Jaybird, it's in the f**king hole!" Finally.

Achieving a hole-in-one was one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. It was an amazing feeling.

Being a 9-handicap player, you are constantly putting in work to master your craft. Yesterday, 7/16/2026, finally, the hard work paid off.

My friend shot the pin of 138 and the wind of 15mph in our face. I’ve decided to hit an 8-iron. As soon as I hit the Titleist ProV1x in the air. My great friends started yelling at my yellow golf ball to go in the hole. lol the hole finally got in the way of my golf ball. All of a sudden, the Titleist ProV1x disappeared. We knew that I achieve one of the greatest accomplishment you can have being a golf addict lol.
