Wedge selection is 48 F, 54 M (with older 54 D if I know I am playing a course with softer, fluffy bunkers that won't plug and/or has rained and softened around the greens), and a 60 M. These allow me to hit a variety of shots from lots of different circumstances, and they fit with my shallower attack angle.

Forum Post: RE: Meet my new caddie - Ryder

made one last minor change. I know even if something happens and I miss the green, my short game will give me a better than average opportunity to get it up and down. If I miss the fairway and find a fairway bunker, the added stress of possibly having to lay up and then know I have to get it up and in, probably from greater distance than option one, may be more challenging. Remember how Adam Scott finished at Royal Lytham? Kept hitting into fairway bunkers and making 4 bogeys. One of the best drivers of the ball, too. Regardless, I am trying to focus on the process and not the results!

Forum Post: I won a car

I was playing in an outing and 2 of the par 3 had a chance to win a car and I made a hole in one and won a ford bronco! www.titleist.com/.../weiyco2z1tenyh3tn4um www.titleist.com/.../bagoyqnewettqxut2zvq

Forum Post: The Eagle

My first hole in one came two weeks after my mother passed. Wedgeworks 44F being used as a 9 iron. 48-54-57-58. F grind picks the ball better off a tight lie vs D grind. Using a 56-14F set to 54*. 58-12D set to 57 is good for fluffy bunkers. 58-06K is a pretty universal lob wedge. I put my Dad's Apex 8 & 9 irons in to close the gap and pull the 44F. I’m on the verge of shooting even par for the first time in a while. The 17th hole at auburn hills golf club in Riner VA is around 175 downhill over water. I hit an 8 iron and when I tell you I’ve never hit an iron better than that…. It flew the green but caught the slope off the back hill and rolled back and dropped right in the cup. It almost was if it was slow motion.
