MEET BRANDON

Brandon Stooksbury is the Director of Instruction at the Idle Hour Golf Learning Center in Macon, Ga. He previously served as a teaching professional with the Jim McLean Golf School in Miami, FL and as Director of Instruction for the PGA TOUR Academy at TPC Las Vegas. Brandon specializes in competitive player development with focus in the areas of short-game and putting and his students compete at every level from junior golf all the way through national level USGA events and the professional tours.

Since 2010, Brandon has consistently been ranked among the top 10 teachers in both Georgia and Nevada by Golf Digest and he is a member of the magazine’s elite “Best Young Teachers” list. He has earned multiple PGA sectional honors, including the 2012 and 2015 Teacher of the Year.

A Titleist staff member since 2015, Brandon is also the author of The Wedge Book: An Owner’s Manual for Your Short Game, a #1 Amazon Best Seller in 2016.
