Dynamic Gold S200 vs R400 hardstepped

    I am interested in purchasing the 712 AP2'swith one of the following shaft choices: Dynamic Gold S200 or Dynamic Gold R400 hard stepped once. My question, will there be a notible difference in launch and spin between these two options. Although my swing speed is not slow, I have a very smooth swing and don't put a lot of flex in the shaft, but still fight a high trajectory with a lot of spin. Thanks!

    I'd say we could probably solve this very quickly with a launch monitor because the loft of the iron will affect your trajectory and spin more than any other factor.  If you have hit both shafts before, go with the one that feels the best and deloft your new set of AP2s at least one degree.

    Hi Brian, One other consideration would be that we can only hard step the 3-8 iron as we would require a taper tipped 36.5" shaft for the 9 and PW and TTemper does not make one at 36.5".
