  1. I was told that the spin on my driver was too high and to switch from Prov1to AVX. Any thoughts? I am old and don’t hit far at all.

Several different factors to consider. Yes, the AVX is the lowest spinning ball on full shots, mainly due to the shallow dimples. It might help you on drives but could also give you mixed results on approach shots. The only real way to know for sure is get a sleeve of three and test them during a round of play. You might also adjust your SureFit hosel setting to D2 to get lower loft and a bit of draw bias. Best advise would be to get a professional fitting to ensure your driver and all clubs/ball best match your swing. Good luck.

Yes sir, I can agree with the change to AVX may lessen the spin. But like what Dale mentioned there are other ways to arrive to it. Driver head fitting is one of them. The TSi4 is a forward CG and spins the ball less. Type of shafts too will play a spin role.
    Hope that helps.
