I am curious about The Scotty Cameron Tour Only putters. I have no interest in getting one (i know that i cant) but I was just wondering, what makes them so special? thanks.

Proctor,
Scotty Cameron Tour models are usually hand milled by Scotty, have tour only stampings, and are custom fit for tour players. Having the putter custom fit to them includes inline putter models with different finishes and hosels that aren't offered to the general public. The Tour Only putters can also be prototypes that are never released and one of a kind.

I think we understand that answer completely, but why is it that we cannot get putters with the same German Stainless Steel like many of the tour models? Would it be that much more cost prohibitive or ? Thanks

Interesting
You are correct. The GSS is very expensive, way too expensive to do a production line putter.

Most of the GSS Putters scotty produces cost about $7,500+
Again, the idea of CT Tour Only putter in GSS is very cool but only if the price tag is not a hang up!
Cheers!

FTUO putter are awesome. There's tons of cool examples of Scotty doing little extras for players on Tour. That's probably why he's got more Tour players rolling his putters than anyone else. I think the only way to get one is to get a Tour card or get a second (or third) job.

Are the Scotty Cameron Tour putters also allowed on the Amateur tour?
Milan Smit
Are these putters allowed for Amateurs aswell?
Yes
Milan,
They are all conforming to the Rules of Golf. Scotty will make these putters with different welded necks, weights, stamps, and mill patterns based on the request of the Tour Player.
