  1. I find that at this time of year I always comtemplate changes to my Bag. The release of new drivers from manufactures always catches my attention. Who dosen't want the latest technology promising gains in yardage. more fairways, and better scores. How do you determine when its time to invest in a new driver ?

I make a change when I have an issue in my bag or enough time has passed to prompt looking at a technology enhanced club change. Speaking specifically about Drivers, the new TS line is phenomenal. If you are having issues with your current Driver and or haven’t upgraded in a while, you should go to a Titleist Thursday or a fitter and try out the new TS. I made a change last year when they were released and it made a huge difference with my accuracy and overall flight on drives.
  4. Thanks, I've actually hit the TS2/3 at a big box retailer and really liked it. I plan to look into getting to a Titleist Thursday and get a better fitting done this spring.

Finding a place to demo clubs side by side is a good way if you can't get to a demo day or fitting. We are remote so that is difficult to do. I work at a golf course as an assistant and do custom club work , so I have an idea what may be a good prospect for me and my customers when it comes to market. However, I have no self restraint and my equipment cabinets bear that out. If something that peaks my interest, then I buy it, test it with every shaft in my inventory to see if it knocks the current "favorite" out of the bag. If not, it goes in the cabinets or closets with the rest of the near new clubs. It is not the way I would suggest someone else conduct their due diligence, but, it makes me happy.

I usually skip a model. I went from 911 to 915. Now wondering if its time to get a TS model or get a low price 917.
Or just wait until fall or next spring to see if TS model gets price reduction.
