  1. Just purchased the irons and after two rounds I love them. I was disappointed to hear from PGA Superstore, Delray Beach, Florida, that Titleist does not honor Veterans. TM, cally, png offer a ten percent discount on any purchase made by Veterans. Seems strange that the number manufacturer offers zero.

First, Titleist does honor veterans. They hire former military and are very supportive of initiatives like Folds of Honor. If you ask why they do not discount clubs, its because they do not want to pass on the increase to others and it is also difficult to find the line to draw between who should and who should not get discounts. Stores and golf pro shops can offer to eat some of their profit by giving you a deal. It's a business model and in no way reflects on how the company feels about any group of people.
  3. We all honor veterans. Better look into Titleist company deeper and see what they have done to honor. It’s not always price breaks to honor vets. Thank you for your service

As a veteran (USMC 04-09) and short tenured TT member, I can't say that I've ever felt slighted by Titleist. I feel they make equipment that is competitively and comparably priced, even without a discount. As others have pointed out, the expression of gratitude is not expressly limited to a price reduction. Titleist has been a partner with Folds of Honor since 2010 - some people give back differently. I hope you stay in love with your T200s! SFMF!

I don’t think Jeff meant any disrespect but was rather voicing frustration about the 15% you can get from other big name competitors. That being said (and too late now) but just always be on the lookout for special offers. I was in the same boat and was a little frustrated by the lack of discount, but Club Champion ran a 20% gift card bonus at the time of the Masters and was able to take my spec sheet from a recent fitting and just got my new t150/200 combo set last week and couldn’t be happier. Saved a nice chunk of money while getting my new beauties. I’ll be completing my transition to a full Titleist bag in the fall when the new woods are released.

For anyone considering new clubs, keep an eye out during major holidays (Father’s day right around the corner) and major tournaments. (US Open a couple weeks away).
