I'll assume you know that tipping is a guessing game, and most likely 2 same shafts may be cut (tipped) the same length and perform slightly different. If you order a "stock" stiff or extra stiff it'll be tipped for the adapter per that manufacturer's recommendation yet still will fall under Titleist chart for Standard as far as torque/stiffness. 1/2'' is usually the starting point. In all honesty, for an upgraded shaft like that, you're running in the blind not getting properly fit by TT or a reputable local guy. Good luck!

Thanks for the input Wesley. I am aware of the "science" of shaft tipping. I worked with a local fitter and we decided on the Tour AD DI6s tipped at 1". I really just need to know what the "standard" tip trim is for that shaft per Titleist. I know at one time they tipped some shafts 1/2" and some 1". I am placing the order through my pro and will just have him make a note to tip trim a total of 1" and not worry about if that is standard or +1/2"
