I purchased a set of T200 Black Vapor Finish, with the black AMT stiff shafts. I also play only Titleist ProV1’s, and love my Scotty Cameron. You could say I’m the ultimate Titleist guy lol!

I love them. Great launch, feedback, and descent angle. Have more than cut my handicap in half since going from an older AP1/2 set—to this T200 set this springish.

I’m a 5 handicapper(that’s trending lower, hopefully a 3 by end of the year.)

I’m not ready to go to a full blade just yet.

All that said—my issue is this. The finish seems to be wearing much faster than I’d expect. I take GREAT care of my clubs, clean them after every shot, don’t use them to hit shots in the woods/rocks/etc. However—it seems like this black finish was just not up to par on these.

I’ve read/seen some similar stories, and wonder if the “Special Edition” may not have been a good call for me… I REALLY like the color/look though.

Anybody with experience with Titleist warranty claims? I know I have to bring them to PGA Suoerstore(or similar) to have them send them in, but I’m curious if anyone has any experience dealing with Titleist on warranty claims for issues like this. Any advice?
