Im looking for information that pertains to driver shafts exact specifications that come from acushnet factory. Ill quickly try to tell you what I am looking for.

I was fit for a TSR3 with a Graphite Design Tour AD - BB back in 2022.

I love everything about it. I bought it through my golf shop on a Titleist Fitting Day, it came directly from Acushnet.

Through some commitment to the hunt, I was able to find a brand new, uncut, in the wrapping Tour AD - BB shaft. I would like to get this built up to what I am calling "Standard Titleist Specifications"

Does anyone on here or can anyone officially at titleist what the exact tipping, length and or specifications are that I could get to a club builder in my area?

    Thank yo for your time!

I imagine Titleist will fallow Graphite Design’s tipping recommendations. You can find them on Pro’s choice golf shafts website as they are the main Graphite Design dealer.
    Hope this helps

The Standard for the TSR3 is no tipping with a playing length of 45.5".

The build of the drivers typically follow the Shaft Specs for Tip Trimming, use the following links for reference:

Hi Eric! I wouldn’t think Titleist would stray from Graphite Design would specify. Driver is butt trim to length only, 3 wood .5” tip trim, and 5wood+ holds at 1” tip trim.

I thank you all for your responses. I do tend to agree with the sentiment that it is likely they would follow the recommendations made by GD. It makes the most sense to me.

I have just read some gearheads on the gear forums talk about the possibility of their being a .5 in trip on the tip. I cant really be certain of that, I just would like to build this shaft as closely as possible to what I was sent in the beginning. So was hoping to hear from someone official with some info.

I know there are variances in shafts regardless, but I am sure you can all understand what I am saying.
