  1. Hello. If I wanted to get my name embroidered on a new Titleist bag that I will purchase through my local pro shop, how long will the whole process take? Also, what is the usual cost of having my name and perhaps a logo or the Team Titleist logo embroidered onto the bag?

I could not tell you exactly but I think the last one I did in 2019 was something like a $20 added cost and two weeks longer. Well worth the price and wait. That said, you should discuss it with your local pro shop to get an exact cost and time estimate. Be aware that the bags all come from overseas and global shipping delays could be an issue. Also some bags are transitioning to different styles for 2022 so stock may not be replenished on some styles until the 2022 models are available.

Another thing to consider is the placement of the custom embroidery. Depending on the bag you are selecting and the location of the custom embroidery, some panels can be "unzipped." So, you can purchase the bag and begin using it and then get the removable panel embroidered separately. I was able to do this with a Carbon stand bag and I had the custom embroidery placed in the location of the ball pocket.

Problem with that is if you purchase a bag that is not going to be in the 2022 line-up, you may not be able to get the replacement pocket. Glad it worked out for you on your Carbon but be aware that they may not always fit. I did a trial test on the next generation Carbon and tried to change out the pocket so that I could use my existing TT logo but even though they seemed to be the same size, the zipper threads were slightly different and I could not interchange them. When every possible, we need to recommend folks order the bag customized the way they want them up front and only resort to parts ordering if it's too late. My thoughts anyway.

Thanks Dale for that insight. It's always good to know the different experiences we have and the considerations we need to make. Who would have thought a subtle change in the zipper could make a huge difference.
  6. Did you send the bag or the panel back to Titleist to have it embroidered or did you take it to a third party? If you did indeed sent it back to Titleist, how were you able to notify them beforehand and how was that entire process like?

I ordered the panel through my club and from my understanding everything was done by Titleist as they had my club logo in their database

Jed, I was waiting to see if Abdon had seen your question and responded before jumping in but he might be away. I believe he ordered a "stock" bag and then, later, asked his pro to order just the embroidered pocket cover. He paid for that separately, the cover, the extra embroidery fee, and shipping. He now has a bag and two interchangeable pocket covers, one plain and one with the TT logo. That is why I posting my comment about not waiting too long to go that route in case the bag styles change and the pocket covers are not interchangeable. Hope this answers your questions.

A friend of mine just order a bag with embroidering and he was told 3 weeks.

I did this about two years ago and had our club's logo put on the lower pouch. Mine took about 4-5 months, but it was due to the color I chose being on backorder at the time. Once it came in stock, it was delivered quickly with the embroidery. Overall, I was very happy with the process.

Lead time depends upon bag style and colors. The 'limited' colors seem to be pretty much sold out. I've been quoted 6 weeks to as much as 5 months. Still waiting on an order placed months ago as well. Bags are sourced in a country that has been hit hard by COVID closures, I believe.
