I’m Looking to stat track and use my Apple Watch during rounds. What is everyone using for GPS distance tracking that also has an Apple Watch app?

I’ve always used golflogix but it’s not free anymore. I tested out swingU, but it’s just okay.

  2. I have not found a good one for my Apple Watch, only for iPhone.

Check out Arccos Golf. You need to purchase the grips or sensors, but it will provide strokes gained analysis for post-round review. The Apple Watch app will give GPS golf yardages, too.

  5. I use V1 Game... so far that's the only one that is free and gives most of the tracking without any additional equipment and subscription. Only manual steps to input the club after the swing.
But I guess the better solution like ShotScope is still a better investment.

How many golfers have an apple watch? This app is overdue IMHO

I use Arccos for stat tracking. There is the initial cost of sensors but no subscription. And you can use iPhone, Apple watch or the Arccos link to capture the shots.
  8. New Arccos come with annual subscriptions.

Personally I use Golfshot (Pro) the paid version. Have been using it for years. I can track fairways, score, putts, penalty's, and more from my watch and my phone stays in pocket the whole time. https://golfshotgps.com/ I later can review my round and see tracked shots and more. Great app. Wish it were a Titleist product... but it's not.

If you can afford the annual subscription, Arccos is fantastic. Shotscope is another great option that doesn't have a subscription fee

ShotScope doesn't work with an Apple Watch. The ShotScope V3 uses their own watch.

I have been using Arccos for years. They're constantly working at making it better and the improvements they have made with the Apple Watch version is an improvement from the first release.

I get where you are coming from, an unfortunately Apple Watch doesn’t have a great app for that. I lucked out and got a Garmin Approach S62 for Fathers Day last year and it is by far better than anything you will find on Apple Watch. It tracks stats every hole and had incredible GPS features.
  16. I have been using Golfshot the paid version lets you track score on your watch but not distance you have to press start on your phone and go to your ball for tracking NBD i mainly just use it to keep track of my score it does drain battery fast on some of my buddies i haven’t had an issue

My friends and I all use “The Grint.” Works great with my Apple Watch and doesn’t drain the battery terribly like some other apps.
  18. Just found another interesting apps call Hello Birdie, hasn't tried it on the course yet, but the apps on the watch come with the course layout.

Don't know why Titleist doesn't have one of their own as TM does. Been using the MyTaylormade Golf app for some time now, it FREE. Also seems to be pretty accurate as I have compared read outs to a skycaddie and also the good old range finder. Only issue I see is that if a course has gone through any extensive changes the yardages will more than likely be off (one of my courses moved a tee box and green on a hole and now if you only use the app you will send your approach shot over the green for sure, LOL). This app also gives you strokes gained stats for free. You can aerial views of holes on the phone but not on the watch is one of the down falls.
