  1. New to golf, well, I used to play as a kid, but now at 35, ill just consider myself New still. Just looking for tip on good beginner full sets, currently using a mix match of clubs, but just curious to see people's opinions on the matter. Much appreciated!

  2. Hi Brendan:

There are many sites that offer discounted used clubs which may be the way to start. You may want to find a pro who will give you a lesson and recommend clubs that would fit your game. The pro probably has some used sets or knows someone looking to upgrade.

Welcome back to the game. Not sure how much your budget will handle. Ideally, go somewhere and get a fitting and follow those recommendations. Even a beginner and high handicapper will benefit from getting into a set that matches their physical characteristics and swing capability. You can always upgrade over time as you progress. If you are on a tight budget, try a store like 2nd Swing that can fit you into some good used clubs. Titleist has some great options, new and used, for beginners. Keep us posted on your progress.
