Is it time for a complete dump? The last 2 rounds have been horrendous not only for me but, my playing partners as well. Granted I can't control other players, but seeing me hit constant bad shots affect their game? I recently had bad rounds near the century mark but, just prior to that it was good before going south.

How do you all cope, I know some of you say go see and instructor. I am having good shots and bad shots. I can stripe a pretty good drive and the lose it on the next hole. Burn a 10-foot putt only to be 3 feet short on the next hole. Just totally inconsistent throughout the round. Should I lay low for a week or do I just keep on pushing. What do you guys suggest for a short term fix....

I have been working on that for a long time. I usually run in 3 week cycles. Play decent golf (for me low to mid 80's) and then overnight it's a 10 to 12 stroke flip.
I am totally convinced there is a golf demon out there who just wants to wreak havoc for laughs. One day I can miss all bunkers and hazards, get all the lucky bounces back in play, and sink every putt inside 8 feet. The next day same course and conditions, and I have 8 bunker shots, every bounce makes a B line for a hazard, and I can 3 putt form 3 feet.
If I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Consider yourself pro material. How many 62-64 rounds come back with a 75 the next day? It’s golf.

Actually have enjoyed this time off since October. Ready to get back with new attitude. Hope my game will show it. Was always told golf is 90 mental and the other 10% is in your head. Just feel fortunate to be able to play. Hakuna matata.

Sometimes you just need a short break, but it will all come back to you. I find it doesn’t take long for me to get excited to play again and that along helps my game when I’ve been struggling.

I agree. I have intentions of taking a short break, but then a buddy calls and tells me he has an opening the next day, and I just can't turn it down. I think I'm addicted. Just gotta play through, and wait for that cycle to turn back in my favor.
