I try to get my 93 year old pop (who uses a cane now) out once a week to hit the ball but he's had health problems as of late, and it's fall. And by the time I get out of school each day, it's getting pretty cold now. Today was unseanonably warm for Colorado (70) so we went out for the first time in weeks. I had just drove beyond the green. Pop went up to his ball, gave a few practice swings and let it rip. The ball bounced once then rattled the pin right as it hit the bottom of the hole! A couple on the next hole, which over looks the green we shot at, let out a shout that I think was ouder than ours! Golfers from around the course started to yell. It was awesome. When we got to the pin, the wife met us at the green to take our picture. I'm so glad I was there to share it with my pop. What an experience!
