My first hole in one

  1. It happened during the monthly medal at RACV Royal Pines, right after the big rain bomb had swept through the Gold Coast. The course was playing tough — heavy air, soft ground, and a lot of challenge.

Standing on the 5th tee, a 157-meter par 3 off the blue tees, I pulled my 8-iron. The pin was tucked way back behind a raised bunker, completely hidden from view. I trusted my swing, hit a pure shot, and watched it sail toward the bunker — then lost sight of it.

Walking up, I couldn’t see the ball anywhere on the green. My heart was racing as I checked the cup — and there it was. My first ever hole-in-one.

I finished the round 5-over-par, but that single shot made the day unforgettable. Thanks to Titleist for being part of the journey — moments like these are why we play.
