Thank you! What was really great was what happened beforehand. My father passed away several years ago. Before he passed away he asked me to do a couple of things. First, he wanted me to mix the majority of his ashes with my mother's when she passed and spread their ashes together at a place they both loved to visit. Second, he wanted me to spread the remainder of his ashes on the golf course. He absolutely loved to play golf and we used to play together all the time. Well, my mother passed away recently and my family fulfilled his first wish this past weekend. On Tuesday, I took a small portion of his ashes and spread them on the first hole in an area off to the side of the fairway as I was walking up to my tee shot. I finished the hole and headed to the second hole where I proceeded to hit the shot that found the cup. I want to think my dad had something to do with that shot. Either way, it is a great memory!
