At the age of 55 I hit my first hole in one using a Titleist Pro V1!

I have recently dropped my handicap from 11 to 6 and playing with a friend who was helping me with my putting stroke that day we approached our club hole #9. A par 3 bunkered on both sides, it was playing 172 and moderate wind at us.

I was playing well and my friend told me to trust my 7-iron. I made a nice pass at the ball and hit the green in front of the pin. We watched it roll up to the cup and pause.

Thinking it was close, we were lamenting it not dropping when we heard a yell behind the green. Couldn’t believe it but it dropped! Threw my Titleist hat in the air and high fives ensued.
