On 3/20/26 I was playing PB Dye and brought a brand new Titleist ProV1 to the tee box on the 11th hole. 98 yards out. 56 degree wedge. Flag center right low side of the green. I hit the ball into the center of the green, it checked and rolled slowly down the undulating green toward the pin. My buddies said oh that’s going in. It slowly approached the pin and dropped in at the last rotation. My first hole in one. It was the only time that ball was ever hit. I put it in my pocket on the previous hole because I thought I lost my other ball but found it. I mistakenly put the used ball back in the cart and teed up the fresh ProV1. I contemplated going back to the cart to get my other ball but the group behind us was just finishing their hole so I went ahead and hit the new ball. The ball went back into the bag after and will go down as it’s only shot being a hole in one.
