Hit my second hole in one today! I played as a kid as my parents enrolled me in the 1st tee program just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Unfortunately i quit after a few months but 3 years ago I decided to pick back up and have been HOOKED. A month ago I decided to treat myself to some AVX’s as I have been experimenting with new balls and was gifted some tour softs for xmas. They’re usually out of my price range/skillset but I figured why not. Today we finally got some nicer weather in PA, and I was able to get out for a twighlight round. Just as I was finishing up the 7th hole my gf called and let me know she lost her job. She was devastated. I told her i would cut my round short and head home to console her, and asked if it would be ok just to just finish the next hole since it was short. Our next hole just so happened to be a 190 yard par 3. I was in between clubs as my set is currently under construction so I was forced to hit 7 wood, as my highest iron only goes up to a 6i. I had to wait to purchase a 5i. Thankfully I went 7 wood, and didnt try to muscle a 6i. I caught it just right, hit a perfect baby fade that landed 3-4 yards short and rolled right into hole! I was playing with randoms but you would've thought we knew each other for years the way we were screaming and hugging. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter I had to leave to go console my gf. But it put a smile on her face to hear the story as she talked me into buying the AVX’s and got me the 7 wood as an xmas gift this year :).
