Steve Horton scored his first hole-in-one on the fifth hole on the Haughton Course in the early evening of Wednesday 13th May 2026. He was playing a match with Rob Wicks in blustery and wet conditions in the second round of the Sir Thomas Jaffrey Challenge Cup. Steve hit a Titleist Pro V1x with a Titleist TSi1 5 hybrid 165 yards off of the white tees. Rob won the match on the fifteenth hole!
