I was invited by my Brother-in-law to play the annual Inukshuk member-guest tournament at his club, Kanawaki Golf Club. Midway through our 4th of five 9-hole matches I teed up on hole 9. It was playing 187 yds into a bowl green where only the flag is visible. I used a 6 iron and my shot went dead straight to the flag. I thought that if it had the distance it would have a chance. Unfortunately because of the topography of the green we couldn't see it drop, but as we approached the green we could see that a ball was missing. I walked over to check, and sure enough, my ball was tucked neatly in the pin! It was incredible that I had this moment during a tournament, and especially that I got to share it with my Brother-in-law. The club gave me a souvenir flag and photo with the club pro to commemorate me accomplishment.
