    What do you think about TW's new putter. I know that he has been using it for a while (off tournaments)

    What do you know about its specs?

    What is the reason behind this change?

    If you have recently changed putters, how long did it take you to get used to it?

    Do you think Tiger will go back to his old putter for the next tournament he plays?

    Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Timeless Prototype
    Loft: 3.75 degrees
    Length: 35.25″ (finished with grip)
    Lie: 70 degrees
    Head weight: TBD (presumably heavier than his 327-gram gamer)
    Grip: png PP58 Blackout

    If i recall correctly the reasoning behind the length increase is that it is easier on his back allowing for more practice time. The adjustable weights allow for him to set the putter heavier for slower green conditions with out using lead tape.

    His old putter was also 35.25" length right?? and that loft seems way high to me as well. Any source for specs??

    He needs to get the elder wand back out!

    I can’t believe he didn’t have his old putter with him and switched it out by at least Saturday. Talk about going down with the ship.
