5.5 or 7.5

    Trying to decide between Phantom 5.5 and 7.5... currently gaming a Special Select Newport but want to try mallet for more face control and higher moi. Planning on longer putter (36-38in) and adding SuperStroke XL grip to be able to grip down. Any suggestions?

    The size of heads and feel are slightly different obviously...I prefer the smaller 5.5 ...you should see at your local Titleist golf store if you can at least feel each to see which you may prefer.

    I prefer the 5.5 also. For me its easier to align and control, whereas the 7.5 felt chunkier and wasnt able to control my putts with it as much.

    I have the 5.5 and I love it. I got fit for mine at Club Champion. I agree with the people above that the 5.5 is easier to control in my opinion.
