The one concern that I have is club fitting. Its always so hard for me too leave work during a week day and the nearest fitter for me is over an hour away. The one thing I would like to see is more options for fittings. I live by a lot of courses but only an handful do fittings. The other concern is that new releases are usually during the winter months here in Ohio so the weather plays a huge factor if I can even get a fitting. I know this isn't ideal but I usually go to a local store and hit the club that I think is right and tweak it from there, and Im not fitter by any means.

Would like to see Titleist explain the technology migration strategy behind the 2-year update process for golf clubs and golf balls. Also interested in teaching professionals' perspective on importance of swing fundamentals versus properly fitted equipment and which is more important...which should be done first?

I'd love to see something about how to hit certain types of shots from the Titleist experts. Like a low stinger, or cut it around a tree. (At our own risk...)

    Thanks- I need this!
  8. How often during the year do Tour Players get fitted for clubs, shafts, lofts, etc. Seems like when they have the right combination, they only change when new models come out.

First, I would like to see a video on Golf Ball Construction and Design (specifically on the thought and decision making process into what changes will be made to the golf balls from generation to generation and after that is decided the new ball from concept, design, testing, manufacture to inception). Next would be Life on Tour (behind the scenes stuff like fitness, what they do during down time, warm up and practice routines etc.)

We hear all the time about the differences in golf balls in relation to woods and irons but, is there any significant difference in the performance level when we use our putters?

    Hi Allan,

Most double-digit handicap golfers like myself would like to know an in-depth analysis of the differences and fitting of hybrids, utility irons and conventional long irons.

Looking forward to receiving a new box of ProV1X :)

My question pertains to Life on Tour.
At the start of the season do you select tournaments you have consistently done well at that play to your strengths?

Along the same lines as a fitting .... the cause & effect of different lie angles in your irons. Too flat = ?? Too upright = ??

How long does it take a pro to break in new equipment?

    1. Wedges
    2. Irons
    3. Hybrids
    4. Fairways
    5. Drivers
    6. Golf balls (change from one Titleist ball to another)
  16. I would like to talk about wedge fittings. Not necessarily based on swing type (digger vs. sweeper) but more based on turf conditions, bunker conditions etc... Would also love some tutorials from experts or fitters on shot shaping and how different club build will impact ball flight/shape. Thank you for doing this as always is is much appreciated!

What type of superstitions or quarks do you have when it comes to your equipment, practice or your game on the course? The way your bag is set up, items in your pocket, ball markings, routine, meals you eat etc?

What is being done by Titleist to attract new golfers to the game and is there a rule change you would like to see to aid in this endeavor ?
  20. Wedge fitting: Would love to get this done some day ... Always wanted to pick a pro's brain and ask about importance/characteristics of choosing wedge shaft flex vs. irons ... how/why a certain grind/bounce is chosen ... reasons for gaming pitch & gap from iron set vs. wedge set or vice versa etc. etc.

My suggestion: I'd like to see a segment with a tour player and Vokey explain some of these ideas and put them into practice. (i.e., hit the same shot with two different wedges that only differ in bounce and discuss the characteristics of each) This may be out there but I haven't come across it.

There's a lot of variety in bounce/grind from Titleist's ambassadors ... it would be interesting to see how they decide on what to game.
