  1. I got fitted last summer for the current Pro V1, and it's been the best ball I've played. I always played the Pro V1X before but the new V "for me at least" has just great, predictable, and does what I want/expect when I need it to.

Pro V1x, AVX yellow. Looking forward to seeing the Pro V1 series in yellow!

Pro V1 for me. Have experimented with others, nothing has knocked the Pro V1 out of the bag.

LOVE the lower spin and flight of the new ProV1

ProV1x for the higher ball flight so I can get that extra stopping power on the greens.

As of this summer I played the tour soft it just feels good off my club and I was going really well with this ball .
  7. I play the ProV1, but this year at a Hybrid fitting I was given a sample sleeve of the new AVX, well that caused me to buy a box and I now have sleeves of each in my bag. The AVX is much more forgiving with the Driver and long irons, yet still performs amazingly around and on the greens. Just like the ProV1 stops and drops exactly where you want it :)
  8. Played the 1x for years as it was originally the lower ball flight ball. The new Pro V1 however made me change back. Live the fell off the tee and it is awesome on and afound the greens. I recently played in a tournament and gave everyone a sleeve of Tp5x thought I would give them a try after a few holes I gave them to my playing partners and went back to my proV1, it really is the best

I play the ProV1x. I just wanted a higher flight with a tick more spin to have it hit and just stop. Hitting a couple short Par 3's and having them end up about 2 feet from where they landed around 5 feet from the cup is all the proof I need.

Whichever is the more spin variant of the ProV1 or the X will always get my vote.

I am playing the yellow AVX. It is easier to follow the flight of the ball. I am hitting it longer and with better control on approach shots.
I have never been able to stop the ball on the green, however, the AVX stops! My putts are about the same.
Dozens of Pro V’s have now become practice balls for the backyard. It hurts to lose them due to the high cost, however, they make my round more enjoyable. I am a 22 handicap due to blowup holes!

It started over 20 years ago when I first was introduced to golf and I was handed an sleeve of Pro V1 and to be honest I just stuck playing them.
    Thanks

Been a ProV1 player for the longest time. But now I've switched to the AVX. It has really brought my flight down to a more boring trajectory off the tee & it's about a half club longer off the irons for me. It took a bit of getting used to around the greens but I finally have gotten used to the added release I get. Into the greens are no problem at all ... hop & stop for me. It's a great ball!

Recently switched to the Prov 1X from the ProV 1. It's the feel around the greens. Both great balls but, the feel of the Prov 1X wins out.

I like the Pro V1 still, the flight and feel of that ball is my favourite. I haven't tried the AVX yet but will definitely next season. I think the temperature is too cold now in Canada to see the benefits from a softer ball. With all the leaves falling etc i'm starting to play any ball I find or orange and yellow balls. Those are easier to find amongst leaves to me.

Pro V1. Cant beat the feel and performance. I dont swing fast enough for the V1x. Save them for my son.

I like the ball flight, spin characteristics, and feel off every club.

After getting the test balls last year of the AVX I have switched and started to play those. They are consistently higher off the driver for me and also longer and straighter. They do not spin as much on the green but I am low spin player anyway, I just play for a little more release now.
  19. Love my ProV1s, but my scores with the AVX tell me that the AVX is the ball for me. Little less spin in my game helps.
