  1. Funny that Rex has chosen Titleist drivers to beef about seeing as Justin Thomas just won yesterday using the new T3 driver and on the 16th hit the longest drive of the day (and in the fairway). Maybe its not the the driver that's the weak link here?
  2. To keep this short and sweet, that's why we all have choices. Play what works best for you and move on so the rest off us can play what works best for us, and also know what's best!
  3. I just got fitted for the New TS 2 driver, and TS 2 metals with the Titleist fitter at a Titleist Thursday session at Pease Golf Course here in New Hampshire. The fitting consisted of zeroing in on the right shaft and club lofts. It is amazing what a big difference the shaft has on flight, spin and distance. I am so lucky to live in an area offering this free fitting service. The Driver and Metals now will complete my transition to a full bag of Titleist equipment. I cannot wait to receive my new clubs. Thank you Titleist!
  4. One of the many reasons I love Titleist is they are all about QUALITY over QUANTITY. Sure they may put out fewer new clubs/models than other manufacturers, but they put in the time on R&D to make top of the line products. Rex said it best with the car analogy, just because a certain company leads the industry in sales numbers doesn't make theirs the best product. It's up to you what you put in your bag, why wouldn't you go with what works best for your swing/game? I consider myself loyal to Titleist but I don't have Titleist irons simply because I hit another set better than the APs I tested.
Rex, part of your post may be about the TS release, but you clearly bash Titleist drivers and customer service first. I'm not surprised you got some respectful disagreements on this forum.

Rex either works for a competitor or is fishing for some free Titleist Schwag. Maybe it’s the Salesman in me, but...
  6. Sorry to disappoint you Dro but I don't work for a competing equipment company and I received a new TS2 which the EFW shaft last Friday. It has been amusing to see all of the defensive posts from my initial post on June 25. I guess that people are becoming increasingly sensitive and less open minded all the time.
I was gaming all Titleist equipment for years except for a carbon Lajosi putter due to the fact that I didn't want to pay 3k for a Circle T. My point of the original post was that the previous Titleist drivers were solid but they were behind in performance. Any objective golfer would not dispute this. I was asking that Titleist hurry up and release the TS line before winter came so that I had a competitive driver. I was pleased with the performance of the TS2 and received the new driver 8 days after preorder. For me the TS stands for Totally Satisfied.

What do I know, who needs to know it, and have I told them? Once again, it appears we golfers are passionate about our own choices. I play Titleist because I choose to. I can only control my own actions and can not control the actions of others. Because of this, I do not concern myself. My feelings belong to me and no one else. Can anyone change the fact that, to me, symphony music is pleasant? No! Can anyone change the fact that, to me, Titleist feels right for my game? No! To me, this discussion pertains not to the quality of materiels provided but rather to proving to oneself what works to improve one's game and not to simply rely on advertising or the opinions of others. Remember, our actions, to include the written or spoken word, carry with them consequences. The words we choose may offend others so it's sometimes best to think before we act or speak and if the words may offend instead of providing beneficial information, perhaps it is best to remain silent. Right Speech. I believe most here play Titleist because it is their choice. If one finds another manufacturer that improves their game, it is their choice to purchase and play that product. Either way, do what is right for you!
