I have a friend that plays music while playing, I can block it out but some people go crazy about it. You got any music blasters?

Music all the way... It doesn't bother me one bit, kinda loosen me up a little and tend to have a little more fun when music is playing... BUT it really depend what's playing.

And i'm hard of hearing so I have some advantages :)

    No music for me....very distracting.
  4. No music for me especially when some greens are close to tee boxes. Already have enough to think about.

My regular foursome likes music and we keep the volume down, so its never been an issue. if Im playing with someone new, I will ask if it bothers them, if so, Ill blast my music on the way home!

I agree with Speedy, the music loosens me up as well. Since my younger, more "hip" brother is always in my group, I hear new music I otherwise would not know such as some Postal worker named Malone??? lol....bad attempt at a joke? just entertaining myself on this slow Friday afternoon at the office. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Not too loud, and either country, or classic rock. Must be getting old.

I don't care for it on the tee box (don't know why but it does bother me). after that I don't mind it providing it is at a decent volume level & has to be music I am familiar with. I play guitar & sing so I always like music. I practice my short game with earbuds & my Mp3 player playing music all the time.
  10. If I or anybody played music on any course in Ireland we would be kicked out and asked to never return and quite rightly so!!!

I don't do it but I have played with some people who do and I liked it. 60's and 70's classic rock. It was played low and you would have to be right next to their cart to hear it. I remember hitting an approach to the green listening to The Doors "L.A. Woman" Cool! Also heard some music on the range which I didn't mind either, especially with some of the jiberish you hear on the range.

Love music while I play, Old school R&B, Classic Rock or BLUES . Even a little Country if the drinks are flowing

To all the music lovers: Please just remember that not everyone likes your music as much as you do and what you may not consider offensive may be very offensive to others.

I'm sorry if I sound like "get off my lawn" guy but (with contributing factors) one cart playing music loudly can be heard many holes away.

I love music but I never mix it with golf. I know Sam Snead practiced while listening to "Blue Danube" for his tempo on a phonograph. That's a record player for you young guys, which is a casette player for you younger guys, and a cd player for you......well you get the idea.

No music. It doesn't affect my concentration, but one of the joys of golf is being out there with nature. I'd rather not
    have anything interfere with that.

I wish those that want music would just use ear buds, problem solved.
  17. No music for me. I'm starting to see more of it on the course and slowly starting to think about it. Maybe one day I'll give in and have some music in the background.

No music.l I find the ones who do play their music, tend to jack up the volume a little too much.

Its nice when playing in a light hearted outing, but never for serious competition.
  20. No music here. I'm generally ok with people I'm paired with if they want to play music but it's not my preference. It would be one thing if it were just to be audible while driving the cart from shot to shot. But it seems common place now for people to just crank it up with no concern about the sound traveling across holes etc. That's where it becomes a problem. And it seems like people are becoming desensitized to blasting music being the norm.
  21. I don't like it, and I find it extremely rude when I can hear a group's music from 3 holes away. Our club promotes it by selling speakers for half price. I guess guys who play indoor golf say the music is always blasting, but I really don't like it.
