AVX’s work best for me love them
  2. Been trying to find one to stick with. Will stay with one for awhile, except when I have a terrible round going I'll start using whatever balls I find around the course

Since 2018, making the change from the X to the AVX has improved my game. From the distance off the tee box, lower ball flight, and control around the green my HCP has gone down. If I don’t play a Titleist I don’t achieve my goals and that’s a fact!

I normally play the V1 but decided to give the X and bought 2 dozen. I went through a bad stretch and that first dozen went pretty quickly so I decided to use some random balls in my bag until things turned around. Game is coming around and I don't know if I can ever go back. The control going into greens is confidence boosting. I was never one to spin shots back but it is a blast to watch it zip back; although not so much when it is back off the green into the water.

Living in the north where I don't get to play several months of the year, I tend to use cheaper balls at the beginning of the season when the courses (and I) aren't in great shape. After my game comes back around and the courses get nice, then I'll use my Pro V1x exclusively.

ProV1X 1's or 2's, 3's go in the shag bag. For 30 years, just a thing.
  8. ProV1x for me.

Pro V1 is my ball. I have been way more consistent since only playing one ball.

Pro V1 for me, was fit for this ball many years ago, and it still is the perfect ball for my game.

Since getting back into the game back in 2021 I have played the ProV1. Back in the day when I was a club pro, I was playing the ProV1x.

I have done various ball tests here and there, but always come back to a Titleist product for quality and performance.

I play the yellow ProV’s rain or shine! During the winter soggy months here in the NW, it makes it easier to find when it plugs in the fairway and rough.

I switch back and forth between the X and the standard. I know the X is supposed to be a higher flight pattern, but with my striking, I feel it’s a little lower than the standard ProV. I can get them to fairly and equally check up into the greens. Just my own experience with them though.
  13. Always the ProV1……always!
  14. I alternate between the left dash and the Pro V1. Left dash in the summer to reduce spin on the greens, and Pro V1 in the winter to hold the firmer greens. I'm liking the feel of the Pro V1 around the greens and may stay with it in the Spring.

Pro v1 yellow 99% of the time
But when the weather is wild in Scotland I occasionally switch to AVX balls ️‍♂️
  18. Typically play Pro V1x unless weather is crazy and water hazards are too close for my liking or on holes with island greens! Basically any situation where there's a high possiblitly of losing my V1x I switch it out.

    Pro V1.

Unless it’s a scramble tournament for work. Work supplies me with golf balls from a competitor with our company logo on them.

I like the idea of not having to change the feel of a shot, so I stay with the ProV1. Having said that, trying other balls to see if I like the way they perform is fine by me. For example, the new AVX - it sems to have "an extra gear" but doesn't sit down as well as the ProV1, for me.
