Great ball once again. I didn't really notice much difference from the previous years version. I might not swing fast enough (driver 95 mph average). I will continue to play the AVX exclusively as I have for the last 7 years. Best ball I have ever played! Used to play the NXT Tour mostly and when I was hitting it square I would play the Pro V1. Love testing the white box balls! I lose them too darn quickly though.
  4. Overall the ball played well. To me it felt a little less soft than the AVX(the ball I play). Distance was very good. A little longer than the AVX imo. Spin around the greens was almost exactly what I get from the AVX… maybe a tad less. Control was in line with what the “old” AVX was. Didn’t notice anything different with dispersion besides being a couple yards longer.
Thanks for letting me demo. I for sure would consider playing the ball after I run out of my AVX inventory.
  5. I was very pleased with the test balls I received. Trajectory was a perfect medium ballflight with plenty of roll. It had a soft feel similar to a ProV1 and had plenty of stopping power. Iwould definetly play these when they go on the market.

They definitely perform as advertised, but the cover durability is poor.
  8. I’m in my mid 70s with a moderate swing speed & I found the ball overall performed well. With driver there seemed to be less spin and resulted in straighter but overall lower ball flight. In windy conditions my iron play resulted in a lower more piercing ball flight with consistent stopping performance with mid irons & rescue clubs. The spin around the greens was also consistent however didn’t seem to perform as well as the Pro Vs but was close (2 hops with a little roll out). It had a good feel off the putter face with a softer feel than the AVX.

Been playing Titleist golf balls for awhile now and this new AVX ball seems to be trending in the right direction. It’s pure around the greens and its very controllably with irons, woods and driver.

As far durability is concerned it still holds up as I always play a few rounds with the same ball.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the product and will continue to play Titleist!!

  10. Yes, I have switched back and forth from the AVX and Tour Speed but usually sticking with the AVX. Looking forward to playing the new 2024 AVX
  11. After a short stint playing the test ball this fall, I finally got to test it indoors in a controlled
environment. I compared it directly to a '23 AVX, hit shot for shot with '23 & '24. The characteristic that was most pronounced for me was the softer feel. Also, from the full shots hit ranging from a 54* wedge to driver, there does appear to be a little more spin, not dramatic, but present. This may be an advantage to some, but I play the AVX for less spin. The added spin will not deter me from playing the ball, but I did find the cover is more susceptible to damage. By damage I mean from the grooves of my full wedge shots. Probably due to different materials used to give it a softer feel. The '23 ball does not have the same damage. I'll certainly start the year playing the new ball, but hope durability won't be a concern.
    Thank you for the opportunity!

Played last week in warm windy conditions. Ball had great feel with all clubs. Played great in the wind and well around the greens. will definitely be playing this ball this season!

Played in warm windy conditions last week. Ball had good feel on all shots. Spin around the greens was really good. 2nd round for me of the year, 1st with this ball. I was impressed and will be adding the ball to my bag this year.
  14. AVX is my favorite ball. I'm a senior and find it's compression is best for my swing speed. I'll use Pro V1 and Pro V1x when I find them but the go to is AVX. I get the most distance from them which is my main goal and love how they spin back on greens when I hit it right. When testing the sleeve, I'll be honest as it's hard to really see much difference between AVX and Pro V1. I believe I get more distance from the AVX so I stick with it. Love the green color too. The Pro V1x compression is too much for my swing. Thanks for letting me test them.
  15. Driver distance was as good, if not better. The ball had great feel and was really playable around the greens.
  16. I immediately noticed an improvement in distance. Nice feel. Unfortunately lost one ball. If this is the new AVX it is a winner.
  17. Just had the first opportunity to play with the test ball. Like the distance and feel, had better drop and stop spin around the green which I prefer over the previous AVX. I also like the side of the ball with the 2 parallel lines better than the previous “AVX” with the small triangles on either side.

I haven't had the chance to try out the new AVX ball yet, but I'm not sure if I can switch from my favorite ProV1x! I've heard great things about this new ball, but I don't think it would suit my game since I was fitted for the ProV1x.
  19. I really like the three balls I tested period. I compared them to another ball. I was playing at the same time and it appeared the AVX was much longer and had great feel.
  20. The golf balls were very playable. The distance off the tee was good. Iron shot distance control was pretty good. As far as pitching and chip shots were concerned I thought that the balls were a little firm for me. I putted on greens that were a little slow so it was difficult to judge the feel of the balls on the green.

Any way to get a two ball test sleeve? I only play V but would definitely like to try these and compare.
