Thanks for allowing me to test the ball. I hooked the ball more than the Prov1, the ball didn't last as long either. Played long and stopped good, ok off the putter. I will stay with the PROV1

The Test Balls played similar to my regular AVX, long, mid-flight and good spin, however I found the durability not as good.

The prototype balls felt ‘harder’ but I did notice an increase in distance. Approximately 10-15 yards and with limited spin on the drives. I usually play my slice/fade but again there wasn’t as much slice / fade so that took a little getting used too. I’m usually very good within 125-110 yards but with a tougher ball I didn’t have as much control as normal. I did enjoy the balls but would need time and rounds to get used to them. I usually hit AVX whites.

I had the opportunity to test the new balls coming to market and compared to the ProV1x I regularly play, I'm sticking with the ProV1x. I was fit to the ProV1x a couple of years ago. I recently switched to the new T350 to my bag from the 2021 T100s. I didn't like the flight of the Test balls, especially with my driver. Around the greens, the Test balls felt a bit softer than the ProV1x (playing SM9's).

I'm sure these new balls will fit well in someone's golf game. I'm a big believer of getting fit for your golf balls because Titleist has many options.

I played approximately 98 holes with the sample 3 ball sleeve.

1. Feel - prototype seems a bit harder than my preferred AVX.

2. Distance - the prototype ball seems a bit shorter, but hard to say being colder temperatures of winter and somewhat wetter fairways.

3. Spin - the prototype was very comparable to the AVX. Particularly on extreme difficult conditions to spin the ball; both around the green out of heavy rough and on downwind approach shots, that normally released but not more than 5 feet. The ball would backup with heavy spin, but not comparable to a ProV1.

4. Control - I don't recall producing wayward shots because of a lot of side spin. The prototype came off true from the putter, but again felt a bit harder than an AVX.

Overall I liked them.

If this ball was available now, it's what I would be playing. I was planning on switching to the Pro V1X this season, after playing the AVX since it was released. As far as the feel of this Prototype ball it's perfect for me. Not to firm nor to soft, whether off my irons or wedges I can feel it compress. And that's important to me, also it seemed to hold up well. The distance was longer than my AVX, actually noticeably as my playing partners even commented about it. Also it held better than the AVX on the greens and spun more . As far as control it was really a straight ball not much curving to it , and had a higher trajectory which is the ball flight I prefer. Like all golfers when new balls come out, I'm subject to trying them hoping for some kind of miracle. But I always go back to Titleist the ball I started out playing, and will always play. The feel was soft, the distance was longer than my pro v1x and the spin was excellent. Is this the new AVX.

I found the ball to have longer distance 20-30 yards for each club. I do have a ‘fade’ / slice that I play yet this ball didn’t seem to spin as much. After that adjustment in my aiming really enjoyed playing with an iron for my second shot vs another fairway wood. Putting seemed to be a little more difficult since it is all touch with me and these test balls felt ‘harder’. Appreciate the opportunity to test these out and after a few rounds I’m sure I would love them more than like them as I do.

The first thing I like to do is putt with the test ball. It felt extremely soft(which I like), and the ball seemed to jump off the putter. Next chipping, and noticed right away that it had more spin than the AVX that is was using.
Then irons and driver, and could see a lower ball flight, good for me, and a touch more distance. I also noticed that the ball seemed to be more durable than previous AVX or Pro V 1. I will purchase the new model.
I still have one test ball left, but with a couple of feet of snow on the ground, will have to wait til spring2024.

The test ball I received responded extremely well. I normally play the AVX as I need a low spin ball. I found the test ball I hit had very low spin and led to a straighter longer shot. The ball felt very good on approach shots but not as good as a Pro V1. Overall, I will be a purchaser of this ball and believe it may be the new AVX ball

I didn’t love the ball. I noticed a lot less spin off the driver's face than I like or play today. I much prefer a softer-feeling golf ball than this one. Spin around the green was fine on shorter shots. Feel on the green was fine and I did not notice much of difference from the ProV1X. I definitely had increased distance of the tee but for me, my dispersion was much wider and missed a few fairways. Most of this is I believe is due to less spin on my shots. Great ball for the player that really wants a lower shot and less spin on the driver.

I am excited for this ball but the reviews are confusing. Some say it's softer than the old AVX, some say it feels the same as a Pro V1X. Can't wait to try it out for myself. The Pro V1 is a great ball but I'd like a little more softness in my short game. If the AVX doesn't work out, I'll stick with the Q Star Tour until we can get a comparable option from Titleist.

I personally hope Titleist does not develop a ball to match another company’s ball, especially since they are already the best, most widely played balls by far, over any other brand. My view anyway.

Not sure why anyone would say it feels the same as a V1x as that is the firmest (premium) ball that Titleist makes. It's definitely softer than the previous gen AVX, I was a tester and I think they made a great ball even better. Can't wait for the loyalty - Buy three get one free deal this year.

I liked the balls for the most part. Felt solid off the club face. I normally play a Calloway ERC and had to revert to that ball a couple times when my game was a bit off. Would I buy them? Maybe. I have a fairly slow swing speed so ultimately I am not sure I am getting everything out of the ball that I could.

In my testing, I felt they were straighter longer, and softer on and around the greens. I almost felt like I was imaging it at first because I couldn't believe that they were able to make them that much better.

The feel was about the same but the two things I thought were definitely an improvement
Was that I obtained an additional 5 to 7 yards with my driver and the dispersion was significantly better. Spin around the green the same.
Yes, I would buy some when they are available

Loved them. Played them in a windy day and worked great. Seemed to be lower flight and cut the wind. Spin was top notch around the greens. Great feeling putting around the course. Loved the ball and will continue using AVX.
