  1. I tried my sleeve out on a par 3 course. Longest holes were 145. I thought they responded well with the wedges I used. I tried regular flighted shots for me and knocked down shots when I I was in between clubs. They pretty much stuck the green close to where they hit on the greens. I liked them.

I got to play the test ball at the end of our season, so I was only able to play it for 4 rounds and in mainly cool weather, 60*'s. New York has a very short season!
I lost my 1st ball after about 13 holes, miss hit on a par 3 with water. The next ball lasted 3 1/2 18 hole rounds so the durability of the ball was great. I have been playing the AVX Yellow and most recently back to the ProV1.
The test ball reacted closely to both but I may have gotten a slight more distance from the test ball and spin was about the same off my irons. The action I liked the most was off the putter, rolled smooth and straight into the hole.
I will use the ball again this spring.

Played the test ball for 4 rounds at the end of the New York short season.
Normally Play AVX yellow and ProV1. The test ball reacted very closely to my normal ball with possibly getting a few extra yards off my woods. The spin with the irons was normal, but I felt the roll I got off the putter was exceptional. The ball rolled smooth and straight going in the hole at much greater percentage than my regular game.
I will use the test balls again this spring. Thanks for the test balls.

plays alot like my AVX, a little firmer , a touch more spin. similar distance. I like it. I was hitting it pretty good the couple of days that I had it in play and was able to hit multiple shots with my gamer and the white box.
I think I like it but would have to adjust a little to the added spin characteristics
  5. To me it was about like playing Avx which I like good spin around the greens distance is about for me was about five yards the feel was good cannot Waite until the ball comes out

I played the newest ball for several rounds (was able to keep it in play which is a big plus). I normally play the AVX. The ball had similar patern to the AVX but flew a bit higher and definitely had more spin. Not as much as the ProV1 but more than the AVX. At 72, Ican still pop it out there 275 at times but I think that is because of the AVX's lower spin and trajectory. It fits me well but the newer ball would work better for me than either the Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

I received the white box for demo and felt the balls responded very similar to the first generation of Provo’s which were the best!Responsive spin around the greens, softer feel on the putter face and distance off the irons and woods consistent with previous generation. My favorite ball to date!Im a 5 handicap and will tee up my last demo ball in my next tournament.

The ball is a little longer then Pv1 and AVX, it feels a bit more like the AVX.
Our greens are new, so it was difficult to get a good feel on stopping but it was similar to the current PV1.
I wanted to try and play 2 balls old and new but have not been able to but overall, I did like the feel, off the club, particularly off the driver.
I will continue to compare the balls going forward.
Too late now but I would like to compare performance in the North ( NY), summer, heat and humidity.
Overall, I was happy with the performance.

Mine arrived just as cold weather set in here in Delaware, so feel was tough to judge. Seemed to play similar to AVX, although with more spin. 3 ball sleeve was exhausted quickly.
  10. I normally play the AVX. Nothing about this ball would have changed that. I thought it was similar in distance, maybe spun more, did not think it was any softer around the greens.

I play the AVX ball. This ball has tremendous feel, more distance than the AVX; 6 yards more carry off the driver 1/2 club with the irons. The spin was awesome; it checked on chip and pitch shots, and had just enough spin for my 4 Vokey wedges. I would put this ball in play now!

Welcome to Team Titleist, Jackson. Glad you got the opportunity to participate and that you like the ball. Stick around and maybe consider heading out with us this year on our annual Team Titleist Invitational trip to parts unknown. We have some great trips. Glad to tell you about them sometime. Sorry we did not get to make the Joint Base Invitational this year. Missed playing with the Champ. The only Chuck Z you know.
  13. I love the Titleist test balls. The feel was great of my driver and irons. I feel my distance increased plus they stopped on a dime on the greens. I give them up !

Test ball similar to AVX. Feel not as soft as a TruSoft which I prefer as I'm 70 years old. Played like a ProV1. Spin good but I don't get as technical anymore.
  16. I found this ball to feel similar to the pro v 1 x. But it did not have the same bite on the greens. Distance was about the same as normal. I was ending up in the same areas off the tee. Ball flight seemed to be a little higher also. I normally carry my driver about 240 yds. Iron shots also flew a little higher than my normal ball flight.

All I can say about this new prototype ball, is if it was available I would definitely be playing it. I loved everything about it, the feel was perfect for me. Not to firm nor to soft I would say right in the middle, I like to feel the ball compress when I strike it. And whether it was with my irons or wedges, it felt like silk and butter combined. The distance was noticeable over my AVX, as my playing partners even made comments. This ball held the greens better than my AVX, and I could spin it a little more. As far as control the ball didn't seem to curve as much, and I liked the higher flight than my AVX. I'm planning on switching to the Pro V1X for its higher trajectory and better spin and stopping on the greens. I like most golfers have tried different and various golf balls, just to see. But I always go back to playing Titleist, the same ball I started out playing. In my opinion there is only two kinds of golf balls Titleist and others. Also I would like to Thank You for providing me to participate in your golf ball testing.
