  1. Love the Titleist TEST balls. Nice feeling from my short game and around the greens. Lots of spin but manageable. Very cool of TT to give me the opportunity to try such a great product.

Thank you for sending me the white boxes!

As for me, the performance was similar to my Titleits ProV1x ball. The distance seemed about the same. I felt I have the same control on left to right and right to left shots and maybe a bit less spin on my off shots. The balls lasted 3 rounds that good durability as expected.

    Hope this helps!!

Balls reacted very well. I was able to spin wedges consistently and the flight was slightly higher than usual. Putted well with great feel, and accuracy. Would purchase if appropriately priced.
  4. I found this ball very forgiving with a good spin rate. Most of the time I play Pro V1 or AVX. Being 72 now I don’t hit the ball as far as I did 40 years ago. Flight trajectory was equal to the AVX for me and overall carry was a few yards less than the AVX BALL. Durability was equal to the AVX at least for me. On the greens the ball seem a little soft on our Tiff Eagle greens. If I was to play with all the time I would be happy with this ball.

The balls I received were very hard, had low spin around the green and control with irons. I typically play ProV1 or Tour Speed and these didn’t compare. I would not recommend nor buy them.

Distance was 10 yards further, Fell was excellent. Iron shots was 10 yards further and putting the ball was soft and rolled beautifully

After playing these for a couple rounds, I felt that they were maybe a little too soft for me. I have played the previous version of the AVX and really liked it until I used the current Pro V1. I like a soft feel but this one felt softer on all clubs for some reason and I just couldn't get past it. I did have one scuff pretty good on a spinny bunker shot. I would say more of a mid launch with lower spin on longer clubs but it has been pretty windy recently in my area. Approach shots hopped and stopped or spun back slightly. It's a good ball but I'll probably stick with the V1.
  8. I liked this ball. Reminded me on both the AVX ball and the Tour Speed ball. I primarily play the Tour Speed. Would buy this ball.
  9. I loved the ball. I liked it even better than the AVX. I got more distance and more control from the ball. I just felt like it handled so much better than the AVX and I really like the AVX. Thanks so much for letting me test this golf ball.
  10. The “White Box” Titleist golf balls that I was testing were Very Similar to the Pro V 1 balls that I have played in the past!!! I didn’t seem to get any more distance but the feel around the greens was very similar!!!!
All in All I liked the ball pretty well!!!! If made available I would more than likely buy this ball!!!!!

Liked the feel and distance off the club head. Have a lower swing speed and the prototypes worked very well for me. When they come out and named they will be bought. Thanks again
  12. Loved the feel off of the driver. Control with irons and around the green felt about the same.
  13. I was excited and appreciative of the opportunity to participate in the testing. I found the golf balls firm with good distance, but there was not adequate spin on short irons or around the greens, which I am accustomed to. In my opinion, this is a very good golf ball, but lacks top of the line performance.

I found the distance same as Prov1 with perhaps more short game spin and a softer feel off the irons.
  15. I am a mid-handicap player. I normally play Tour Soft (yellow) balls. I tried the White Box balls for a couple of rounds and felt that they played much like the ProV1. Unfortunately (for me) I don't have sufficient swing speed to compress the White Box balls off the tee as well as the Tour Soft, so I didn't particularly like them. For my short game and putting, they were ok, but not "soft" enough for me.

I received and thried the Three (3) balls. I thought they were quite different from the Pro V1's I had played.
The flight was similar, the spin was different and the distance seemed a bit longer, the biggest difference was the feel.
I enjoyed the ball, my Pro ventured a guess they were the AVX. I bought some and found them to be very similar, I aam no expert BUT I am switching balls to AVX.
I have a question, The ProV1X is a lower compression ball? I always thought that the manufacturing difference between wound balls and "poured balls" eliminated the Compression factor.

Appreciate your equipment and your consisitancey

I thought the ball felt really good for me, seemed a little longer than the AVX . The flight was a little higher which I was looking for, the spin and stopping into the greens was way better than the AVX. Also the feel off my irons and wedges was as smooth as silk, probably one of the big advantages that I really liked. I'm planning on switching to the Pro V1X for 2024, or if this ball goes into production. Probably it will be my first choice, I've played Titleist golf balls since I started. Always trying other golf balls but go back to Titleist, you see the way I look at it ! There is only (2) kinds of Golf Balls Titleist and Other's ! Thanks for letting me be part of your testing of this prototype Ball. I was Honored
  18. I had your test ball.
Their feel was very good, distance compared to my PRO V1X, spin rate was good and durability good.
    Overall quite satisfied.

  19. I received the test balls late fall and living in NY it wasn’t the best weather for me to get a true analysis. It was rather cold and the ball felt hard and distance was not good. The spin was decent on short pitch shots. Again the ball felt hard coming off my putter. I have only played twice since the first time I played the test ball and the temp was 29 when we teed off so I never played it again. I may be visiting Florida ina few weeks so if it isn’t too late for a review I’ll try it again. Thanks to Titleist for giving me the opportunity.
  20. Played three rounds with the prototype balls. Very similar to the AVX in feel and distance. Drop and stop action on the greens as well. I normally play the AVX or the ProV1—and would play this ball as well if it hits the market.
