  1. Great balls, different dimple pattern, penetrating flight into the wind. Great soft feel...not clicky. Great spin around the greens. I still have one left, and using here in the Riviera Maya.

Thought the ball played true to form. Distance was true and feel of the clubface was solid.
  3. I compared the test balls to the play of the AVX which is my regular ball. Driver flight was lower, so overall runout distance was a bit longer. Iron flight was a bit shorter.

A bit softer feel off both the short wedge and putter.

No substantial game improvement over the AVX.
  4. I look forward to try out new fairway and hybrid tools. 75 years old now and can always use some equipment to save a few yards.

  5. Good soft feel and distance was as good as other Titleist balls. Don't know if it is better than others or just another new ball
  6. Wish I had them earlier in the season. I found them similar to the pro v1x, a little firmer than the pro v1 but still not bad around the green, I love a softer ball for chipping but this was still workable.

I did complete the questionnaire after testing last fall. Liked this ball and hope to know when it will be available at retail. Longer distance and good feel.

Really liked the test golfballs. Great feel off the driver and the performance around the greens very similar to ProV1! Excited to see your next generation of industry leading golfballs. Thanks again for including me in the testing process.

Unfortunately living in Wisconsin, this is not golf weather. In fact today we are experiencing an 8 inch snow storm. Am headed to Florida in early April at which time I will try the test golf ball. Will respond at that time. Thank you for including me in the test.
  10. The new ball has the feel of the ProV1. The roll on the greens is true and the feel is softer. Chipping around the greens has a great feel. I’m confident that with solid contact the ball will either roll out or spin with consistency. I didn’t hit it any further but again, really like the feel of these balls and highly recommend them.

Nice feel and distance with stopping power on the greens. They are everything you would want in a golf ball!
  12. The white box ball has a soft feel. Ball flight was consistently bulls eye straight and rolled out nicely on my drives. I normally use the AVX and found this ball flew slightly higher and giving a few more yards. Perhaps I golfed better with this ball but in any event greenside control was excellent with this ball having stopping power better than the AVX. For me this ball overall is the best I have used. If it goes into production, I will use it. I golf over 100 rounds a year.

Test ball felt slightly firmer than my AVX. There was no discernable difference in distance of the tee, hybrids or irons. As for spin once again no difference with my AVX balls.
  14. Great feel and spin, but it wasn’t as long as the Titleist AVX.

I received a sleeve. Played 2 rounds with them. Hit a few on the track man as well. Spin rate was low and ball has a soft feel off the club. Distance and overall feel was pretty similar to the tour soft version. Also let a buddy of mine try one and he went OB off the tee so not much help there or feedback. Thanks for sending them, I enjoyed trying them out.
  16. I really enjoyed my sleeve of titleist balls overall the balls played really well for me . feel off the tee was Awsome and around the greens would really stop well . i had an average of about 8 yards. Stayed straight er for me off the tee and second shots. Now just tell me which ball it is so i can buy some
  17. I really appreciated the ball testing. The ball reacted wonderfully off my irons especially from 60-100 yards out. It felt similar to my AVXs I play. Definitely would put this ball in play.

Having received a "White Box Test" set of Titleist balls, I was excited to try them out here in Texas. After having played several rounds with them, here are my thoughts.
    1. Feel: A soft feel that falls between the Titleist Pro V1 Balls and Titleist Tour Speed Balls. I do prefer a softer feel off of the putter and these did not disappoint. There was a somewhat soft feel off of the irons and woods, but definitely mimicked the feel of the Pro V1 balls. They definitely felt solid with full swings using irons or woods and not unduly soft.
    2. Distance: Using a launch monitor, the white box balls, were as long or longer when compared to the Bridgestone Rx. Also when in play on the course they held their own against other similar balls, although I did not notice a great deal of distance gain.
    3. Spin: Also using a launch monitor, the white box Titleist balls generally had more spin using a 7 Iron than the Bridgestone Rx balls. On the course, the Titleist balls performed similarly and held the green with full shots and I seemed to be able to spin them more on pitches and chips.
    4. Control: Control on full shots or pitches and chips provided excellent feedback and, as I said earlier, the spin rate on pitches and chips was excellent. I had an opportunity to play in the wind and the white box balls performed admirably and seemed to have a little more piercing trajectory (mid ball flight) than some others.

Overall the white box balls seemed to have decent stability (even in the wind), comparable distance and a softer feel. I especially liked the feel and spin when pitching or chipping and the softer feel when putting. I also liked the fact that they had distance equal to or somewhat greater than other balls I tested. I would give them a thumbs up.

Sweet ball, it certainly beats my Chrome Soft in both feel, distance and spin around the green. Not sure what the product is, but I would switch once it’s known name.
